Gospel singer chosen for music residency in the United States

Olamilekan Olowosile, nicknamed Mista Olamilekan, a gospel singer, has been given a spot in the Films and Music category of the 2024 Temidayo Ogan Child Safety and Support Foundation International USA ‘Artist in Residence’ programme.

According to a statement given to Sunday Scoop, the programme is anticipated to elevate the singer’s career and validate his ability and creativity, positioning him among the greatest gospel performers globally.

Meanwhile, Olamilekan expressed thanks and added that he was excited to contribute to the program’s purpose of learning, growth, mentorship, coaching, and community involvement.

He said, “I am thankful to God for this chance and primarily excited for the platform. I intend to accept this offer since I believe I have something worthwhile to provide on this platform. I am looking forward to my responsibilities. My duty is to share the gospel over the globe. It is an honour to have this platform and employ outreach programmes to engage others.

“With the expertise gained from my years of work, as well as the aid of God, I shall make a meaningful contribution to the TOCSS Foundation’s efforts. I’ve coached a few individuals in this profession, both directly and indirectly, and I can train many more.

The singer, who is active in the Temidayo Music Medicine project, believes that excellent music may be an effective instrument for improving public health and safety, particularly when integrated with a wider public health programme.
